3 tablespoons hazelnut meal

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F
2.Line a 22cm/8.5 inch pie dish with the first sheet of shortcrust pastry.

4.Cover mixture with second sheet of pastry, trimming any excess from edges. Cut three slits on top of pastry sheet.
5.Beat egg in a separate bowl and brush it onto the surface of the pie.
6.Bake for 45 minutes or until the pie's filling is tender and pastry is golden brown.
