2 2/3 cups plain flour , sifted
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons milk
1 cup dried fig , finely chopped
1/2 cup desiccated coconut

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease baking trays with butter and line with baking paper.
2.Beat sugar and butter in a bowl until creamy. Add eggs and lemon myrtle, and beat until combined. Add honey and beat until smooth.
3.Combine flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add half the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir until combined. Add milk and stir until combined. Add remaining flour mixture, dried figs and coconut. Stir until mixture forms a dough.
4.Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls. Place on prepared trays and gently flatten. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
5.Cool biscuits on trays for 5 minutes before transferring them on to a wire rack to cool down completely.
