Ingredients

300 g self-raising flour
2 tablespoons icing sugar
80 g butter , chilled and chopped
125 ml milk
125 ml vanilla custard
2 tablespoons passion fruit pulp , fresh
45 g icing sugar
1 tablespoon fresh passion fruit pulp
These Vanilla Custard & Passionfruit Scrolls are a twist on the classic cinnamon buns, making them a unique and delicious bakery treat for breakfast or dessert. The soft, sweet dough is infused with vanilla custard and tangy passionfruit pulp to create a mouth-watering flavor combination. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 200C/400F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and icing sugar.
3.Add the chilled, chopped butter to the bowl and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture is crumbly.
4.Gradually add the milk to the mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
5.Roll the dough out on a floured surface into a large rectangle shape.
6.Spread the vanilla custard and passionfruit pulp over the surface of the dough.
7.Tightly roll the dough up into a large, long cylinder shape.
8.Cut the cylinder into 2cm slices and place them on the lined baking tray.
9.Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
10.Sift the icing sugar over the hot scrolls and drizzle with fresh passionfruit pulp before serving.
