6 hamburger buns ( whole grain are good )
6 tablespoons hummus , of your choice
6 teaspoons spicy tomato salsa or 6 teaspoons chutney
2 cups salad greens
6 red ripe tomatoes
salt and pepper

Instructions

1.Grate the carrot and courgette, and finely chop the onion.
2.Mix the lean beef mince with the cooked beans, chickpeas, and lentils. Add in the grated vegetables and chopped onion, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
3.Form the mixture into six equal-sized patties, and preheat a grill or frying pan.
4.Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, until fully cooked through and lightly browned.
5.Toast the hamburger buns, and spread on a tablespoon of hummus onto the bottom of each bun.
6.Top each bun with a cooked patty, a teaspoon of spicy tomato salsa or chutney, a handful of salad greens, and a slice of ripe tomato.
7.Serve immediately with additional salad greens or vegetables on the side, if desired.
