Ingredients

3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup lime juice
4 cloves garlic , minced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped canned chipotle pepper
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 bunch fresh cilantro , chopped
1/2 cup olive oil
3 pounds flank steak
Carne Asada is a popular Mexican dish made from marinated, grilled beef. Lisa's Favorite Carne Asada Marinade recipe is a mouth-watering blend of citrus juices, soy sauce, herbs and spices that give this dish a bold and zesty flavor. This recipe is perfect for a summer BBQ or special family dinner. Served with warm tortillas, Mexican rice, and pico de gallo, this dish will definitely be a crowd-pleaser!

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, combine orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, garlic, soy sauce, canned chipotle pepper, chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, dried oregano, black pepper and cilantro.
2.Pour marinade blend into a large resealable plastic bag.
3.Add the flank steak, coat well with the marinade and seal the bag.
4.Marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours, turning every few hours.
5.Preheat grill for high heat and lightly oil the grill grate.
6.Remove steak from marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
7.Grill steak for 7-10 minutes per side.
8.Let stand for 5 minutes and then slice against the grain and serve.
