Instructions

1.Cut quinces into wedges.
2.Pour hot water in a slow cooker pot.
3.Add the raw sugar, and stir to dissolve.
4.Add quince wedges, making sure they’re covered with syrup.
5.Add juice and zest of two lemons and stir it thoroughly.
6.Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8 hours.
7.Gently remove the quince slices and place on a plate.
8.Strain the remaining syrup.
9.Place the syrup in a pan and cook on high heat until it thickens to a syrup consistency (around 10-15 minutes).
10.Pour the syrup over the quince slices and serve hot or cold.
