1 small sweet potato , peeled , coarsely chopped ( kumara )
1 small carrot , peeled , finely chopped
1 potato , peeled , finely chopped
1/2 cup frozen peas
125 g corn , rinsed and drained
1/2 cup cheese , coarsely grated
2 eggs , lightly whisked
3 sheets shortcrust pastry ( ready-rolled and frozen )
2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

4.Cut pastry sheets into four squares, spoon the vegetable mixture onto the centre of each square and fold in half to enclose the filling.
5.Brush the pasties with a little water and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
