3 tablespoons shoyu ( Japanese Soy Sauce ) or 3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons sake or 3 tablespoons dry sherry
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 garlic clove , crushed
1 tablespoon fresh ginger , finely chopped
2 teaspoons clear honey

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sake, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and honey.

3.Cover the mixing bowl with cling wrap and marinate upper to 8 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
4.Preheat the oven to 230°C and skewer the marinated chicken in an alternating pattern with green capsicum and spring onions.
5.Place the skewers on a baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
6.Baste the chicken with the remaining marinade every 5 minutes while grilling the skewers.
