5.Return the mixture to the pot and stir over low heat until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
6.Remove from heat, cool at room temperature, and then chill for 4 hours or until freezing
7.Pour the mixture into your ice-cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions for 20-25 minutes.
8.Once frozen, mix in toasted walnuts and cinnamon and transfer to a freezer-safe container.
9.Freeze for 2-3 hours or until solid.
