750 g chicken , cut in 1 12 inch pieces
1 kg onion
2 teaspoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon turmeric ( haldi )
5 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 inch piece fresh ginger , peeled & chopped 2 bay leaves ( taze patta )
3 medium tomatoes , roughly chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons coriander , fresh chopped

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix the chicken pieces with coriander powder and turmeric. Set aside.

4.Add tomatoes and cook until the mixture forms a thick paste.
5.Add chicken to the paste and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
6.Once the chicken is fully cooked, add lemon juice and garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves.
7.Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
