Instructions

1.Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4.Cook onion in hot skillet until golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes.
5.Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
6.Stir tomatillos, chile peppers, jalapeno peppers, cilantro, oregano, salt, and pepper with onion in the skillet.
7.Pour water into the skillet to deglaze the pan, stirring to combine ingredients and liquefy any browned bits of food.
