Ingredients

6 sheets nori
3 cups cooked sushi rice , seasoned
8 frozen tempura shrimp
1 small fresh pineapple
6 stalks green onions
Tropical Maki - Sushi is a fusion dish that combines elements of Japanese sushi with the flavors of the tropics. The dish is often served with soy sauce or wasabi for dipping. Instructions

1.Cut the pineapple into small pieces and set aside.
2.Cut the green onions in half and then separate each half into thin strips.

5.Spread about ½ cup of the seasoned sushi rice evenly onto the nori.
6.Place a few pieces of pineapple and some strips of green onion in the center of the rice.

8.Using the mat, roll the sushi into a tight roll, sealing the edges with a bit of water.
9.Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
10.Once all rolls have been made, cut each roll into 6-8 pieces using a sharp knife.
