Instructions

1.Rinse your chosen rice until the water runs clear.

4.Remove the pan from the heat and let it rest for an additional 5-10 minutes, taking off the lid.
5.In a separate bowl, combine the shredded kelp, soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar to make the kelp seasoning.
6.Mix the seasoning with freshly cooked rice until it is well combined while the rice is still warm.
7.Take about a quarter amount of the seasoned rice and shape it into a triangular shape. Make a small well in the center and place a little of the kelp and fold the rice over it.
8.Finally, wrap the finished Onigiri with Nori and serve.
