1 1/2 inches minced ginger
1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
25 dumpling wrappers
vegetable oil ( for frying )
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
3 drops sesame oil
minced ginger ( to garnish )

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped spring onions, beaten egg, minced ginger, sweet chili sauce, light soy sauce, and sesame oil.
2.Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
3.Remove a dumpling wrapper from the package and place a tablespoonful of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.
4.Use your fingertip to dab water around the edge of the wrapper.
5.Fold the wrapper over the filling and press the edges together to seal, creating a crescent shape.
6.Repeat steps 3-5 until all the filling is used.
7.In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
8.Add the dumplings to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottoms are golden brown.
9.Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover with a lid.
10.Reduce heat to medium-low and steam dumplings for 5-7 minutes or until fully cooked.
11.Use a spatula to remove dumplings from the pan and drain well on paper towels.
12.In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil to create a dipping sauce.
13.Garnish the dumplings with minced ginger and serve immediately with the dipping sauce.
