Ingredients

1 lb of fresh string bean , trimmed
4 tablespoons butter
2 onions , sliced thinly into crescents
8 ounces tomato sauce
2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons white vinegar ( or more to taste )

Instructions

3.Add 8 ounces of tomato sauce and 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh basil to the skillet. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper and stir well to combine.
4.Add the cooked string beans to the skillet with the tomato sauce and toss everything together until the beans are well coated.
5.In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of plain yogurt, 1/4 cup of sour cream, and 2 teaspoons of white vinegar until smooth. Serve the string beans with the sour cream sauce on the side.
