Ingredients

1/2 cup dried anchovy ( can be substituted for quail 's eggs , shellfish )
1 bombay onion
4 shallots
2 tablespoons tamarind juice
prawn paste ( belacan ) ( optional )
8 dried chilies ( deseeded )
1 garlic clove
salt
sugar

Instructions

1.Rinse and dry the dried anchovies.

4.Add in the blended mix and stir-fry until fragrant, around 2-3 mins.
5.Add in the dried anchovies and mix them in the sauce.
6.Add salt and sugar to taste.
