Ingredients

2 1/2 tablespoons prepared chili paste ( koh-chu-chang )
2 teaspoons spicy red pepper flakes
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame seed oil
2 tablespoons honey
3/4 cup brown sugar
salt and pepper
5 garlic cloves , finely minced
kiwi , pureed
1/4 pealed Asian pear , pureed
sliced fresh ginger
3 lbs thinly-sliced bite-sized pork
10 slices fresh ginger ( thin slices )
Korean Pork BBQ (Bul-Go-Gee) is a mouth-watering Korean dish that features tender and juicy marinated pork. Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together the chili paste, spicy red pepper flakes, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, honey, brown sugar, salt and pepper.
2.Add in the minced garlic, pureed kiwi, pureed Asian pear, and sliced ginger.
3.Mix everything thoroughly and set aside.
4.Add the thinly-sliced bite-sized pork and the sliced ginger into the marinade.
5.Mix well and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
6.Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grill the marinated pork for 3-4 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
7.Serve hot with steamed rice and side dishes of your choice.
