2/3 cup soy sauce ( I use Aloha or Kikkoman regular or low salt )
3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons honey ( the secret ingredient ! )
3 tablespoons sugar ( white or brown )
4 tablespoons sesame seeds , toasted
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 -3 garlic cloves , finely chopped
1 -2 green onion , finely sliced

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, honey, sugar, toasted sesame seeds, sesame oil, garlic, and green onion.
2.Add the pork ribs to the bowl and toss to fully coat in the marinade.
3.Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
4.Preheat grill or oven to 350°F (180°C).
5.Remove the ribs from the marinade and arrange them on the grill or on a baking sheet.
6.Grill or bake the ribs for 30-40 minutes, basting occasionally with reserved marinade, until the ribs are fully cooked through.
