3 tablespoons butter , divided

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sour cream
1/2 cup shredded pepperjack cheese
2 cups tortilla chips , or to taste
2 tablespoons pico de gallo , or to taste ( optional )
Chicken Enchilada Nachos are a fusion of Mexican and American cuisines. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
3.Add chopped onion, jalapeno pepper, chile pepper, and garlic, and cook until onion is translucent.
4.Stir in chicken broth, chicken, chili powder, seasoned salt, ground cumin, and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
5.In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of melted butter with all-purpose flour and sour cream.
6.Add the flour mixture to the chicken mixture in the saucepan, and stir over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
7.Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet and pour the chicken mixture over the chips.
8.Sprinkle the shredded pepperjack cheese and pico de gallo over the chicken mixture.
9.Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
