Ingredients

1 sweet potato
1/2 cup green peas
1 1/2 teaspoons garam masala
1 tablespoon cilantro
1/2 teaspoon jeera powder or 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
1 onion
1 cup soy crumbles
1/2 teaspoon ginger , -garlic paste
12 sheets phyllo pastry , as needed
melted butter
oil , for sauteing
salt , and red chili powder as needed
Bohri Samosas and Blissini is a tasty and unique blend of spices and vegetables wrapped in phyllo pastry triangles. The samosas originate from Bohra Muslims of Indian subcontinent, and they have a distinct taste. The Blissini is a healthy, protein-packed drink made with a sweet potato and soy yogurt base. Instructions

1.Boil the sweet potato and green peas until they are soft.
2.In a saute pan, heat oil and saute the onion until translucent.
3.Add the soy crumbles and ginger-garlic paste, stir well, and cook until the soy crumbles are cooked.
4.Add garam masala, cilantro, and jeera powder(or fennel seed), and saute for a few seconds.
5.Add the boiled sweet potato and green peas, and mix well. Add salt and red chili powder to taste.
6.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
7.Lay out one sheet of phyllo pastry and brush it with melted butter. Layer 5 more sheets on top, brushing each sheet with butter as you go.
8.Cut the phyllo pastry into 4 (3-inch wide) strips and make triangles with them.
9.Fill each pastry triangle with the sweet potato and green peas mixture and seal it well.
10.Place the Samosas in a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.
11.For Blissini, mix and blend the sweet potato, garam masala, and soy yogurt in a blender.
12.Pour the Blissini mixture into a glass and serve it with the hot samosas.
