Ingredients

2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon oil
salt
1 cup water ( or a little more if required )
1 big onion , finely chopped
8 medium potatoes ( approx . 2 cup mashed )
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
4 green chilies ( deseeded and finely chopped0 )
1/4 teaspoon chili powder ( adjust to taste )
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 1/2 teaspoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
salt
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh coriander

Instructions

1.Take the whole wheat flour in a bowl, add salt and oil. Mix well.

4.Heat oil in a pan, add ginger and garlic paste. Saute until fragrant.
5.Add onions and saute until golden brown. Add green chilies and saute for a minute.
6.Add mashed potatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
7.Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
8.Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll out a portion into a small circle.
9.Place a tablespoon of prepared stuffing in the center of the circle.
10.Gather the edges and seal the stuffing.
11.Dust with dry flour and gently roll out the dough into a circle.
12.Heat a griddle and place the rolled paratha on it.
13.Cook on a medium flame until golden brown on both sides.
14.Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
