Ingredients

4 cups sweet potatoes ( mashed )
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
2 black cardamom pods
4 green cardamom pods
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
coriander leaves ( Cilantro )

Instructions

1.In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
2.Add the cinnamon stick, bay leaf, black and green cardamom pods, and ginger-garlic paste. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 2 minutes or until fragrant.
3.Add the mashed sweet potatoes, coriander powder, red chili powder and nutmeg. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
4.Add the heavy cream, milk, and salt to the pot. Stir well and bring to a boil.
5.Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
6.Remove the cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and cardamom pods. Puree the soup in a blender until smooth.
7.Serve hot, garnished with cilantro leaves.
