Ingredients

750 g sugar
1 cup cocoa powder ( I use Hintz Dutch processed cocoa powder )
1 1/2 cups fresh milk ( or low fat milk )
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 pinch salt
1 cup walnuts , chopped

Instructions

1.Line an 8x8 square baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
2.In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, and milk over medium heat. Cook, whisking constantly, until sugar has dissolved.
3.Bring mixture to a boil and cook until it reaches 234°F on a candy thermometer.
4.Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, vanilla essence, salt, and chopped walnuts until well combined.
5.Pour fudge mixture into prepared baking dish. Chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.
6.Once set, remove fudge from the dish by lifting the parchment paper. Cut into small squares and serve.
