Ingredients

8 large green chilies ( of your choice )
1 teaspoon tamarind paste , soaked in 2 tablespoons warm water ( seedless )
1 teaspoon cumin seed
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
1 teaspoon white poppy seeds
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons unsweetened dried shredded coconut
4 tablespoons oil
1 small red onion , minced
fresh ginger , peeled and finely minced
3 garlic , cloves.peeled and finely minced
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 cup warm water
Hot Chile Pepper Curry, also known as Mirchi Ka Salan, originates from the Indian city of Hyderabad, and it is a popular dish in many parts of India. Instructions

1.Roast cumin seed, coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, white poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dried shredded coconut in a pan and grind to a fine powder.
2.Slit the green chilies lengthwise and remove the seeds. Set aside.
3.Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the onion until translucent.
4.Add fresh ginger and garlic, saute for a minute.
5.Add roasted ground spices, cayenne pepper, turmeric powder and fry for a minute.
6.Add tamarind paste and warm water, simmer for 2 minutes.
7.Add the slit green chilies, cover and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes until the chilies are tender.
