Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine besan, whole wheat flour, salt, and ajwain.
2.Gradually add water and knead the mixture to form a smooth dough.
3.Divide the dough into small equal-sized balls.
4.Dust the dough balls with dry flour, and roll out each ball into a flat circular shape using a rolling pin.
5.Heat a non-stick tawa or pan on medium heat and transfer the rolled-out roti onto the tawa or pan.
6.Flip the roti once the top starts to appear cooked.
7.Apply a little pressure with the back of a spatula to cook the roti evenly on both sides.
8.Serve hot with your favourite chutney or pickle.
