Ingredients

2 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 teaspoon cumin seed
1 large onion , halved and finely sliced
1/2 tablespoon ginger paste
1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
salt
1 small green pepper , quartered , deseeded and sliced
2 ripe tomatoes , quartered and sliced
150 g panir , cubed
3 tablespoons fresh coriander , chopped ( =cilantro )

Instructions

1.Heat oil in a nonstick pan and add cumin seeds. Once the seeds start to crackle, add the sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

3.Mix in the turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, salt and sliced green peppers. Cook for about 2 minutes until the peppers are slightly tender.
4.Add the sliced tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
5.Lastly, add the cubed paneer and chopped coriander. Gently mix and cook for an additional 2 minutes, making sure the paneer cubes are well coated with the spices.
6.Serve hot as a side dish or over steamed rice or with fresh naan bread.
