Ingredients

6 tablespoons ghee
1 kg mutton , washed , cleaned and cut into medium pcs
2 medium onions , peeled , washed and chopped
2 medium tomatoes , peeled , washed and chopped
salt
red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves ( kasoori methi )
1 cup fresh coriander leaves , washed and finely chopped
1/4 cup mint leaf , washed and finely chopped
3 -4 green chilies , washed and chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon coarsely crushed black peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder

Instructions

1.Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
2.Add onions and sauté until light golden brown.
3.Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

6.Add mutton and mix well.

9.Add enough water to the mutton to cover it and stir well.
10.Close the pressure cooker and cook until the meat is tender, usually around 6-8 whistles.
11.Once cooked, let the pressure release naturally and then open the lid.
12.Cook for a few more minutes until the gravy reaches a desired consistency.
