Ingredients

1/2 cup onion , chopped
1 cup fresh mushroom pieces ( finely chopped or diced )
1 cup sodium-free vegetable broth
3/4 cup tomato puree
1 tablespoon cornstarch ( dissolved in little cold water )
1 tablespoon white wine
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 dash Tabasco sauce

Instructions

1.Heat a non-stick pan
2.Add onion and sauté until translucent
3.Add mushrooms and cook until they release their juices
4.Add vegetable broth, tomato puree, black pepper and Tabasco sauce
5.Stir well and let it come to a boiling point for 2-3 minutes
6.Add dissolved cornstarch and stir continuously until the gravy thickens to your desired consistency
7.Turn off heat and add white wine. Stir well.
8.Pour over your favorite dish and enjoy!
