1 lb beef chuck , cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
2 tablespoons ginger paste

1/2 lb bacon , cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup tomato puree
1/2 cup water
kosher salt , to taste

Instructions

1.Marinate the beef chunks with the ginger paste, garlic paste, black pepper, vinegar, salt, and vegetable oil for at least 30 minutes.
2.In the 2.5-Qt. Pressure Cooker, add the marinated beef chunks, cloves, cinnamon stick, and water. Cook on high pressure for 25 minutes, then release the pressure manually and set aside.
3.In a separate pan, heat the remaining vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onions and green chilies and cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, and bacon. Cook for another 7-10 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
4.Add the tomato puree and water to the bacon and onion mixture. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
5.Add the cooked beef to the tomato and bacon mixture. Stir well and let simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
6.Serve hot with rice or Indian bread.
