Ingredients

10 round buns
500 g boiled potatoes , divided
200 g peanuts
8 tablespoons oil , divided
salt
1 tablespoon lime juice
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons dry coconut powder
2 onions , finely chopped
2 1/2 tablespoons garam masala powder
1 pinch red chili powder
1 pinch turmeric powder

Instructions

1.Soak the peanuts in water for 2 hours, then drain and grind them into a paste.

3.Add the peanut paste and cook until the oil starts separating. Add grated coconut powder and mix well.

5.Mash the boiled potatoes and mix them with salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of oil.
6.Divide the potato mixture into ten equal parts and shape them into patties.
7.Stuff each patty with a spoonful of the peanut mixture and close the edges properly to shape it like a burger patty.
8.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
9.Cut the buns into halves, brush them with oil, and toast them on a griddle.
10.Assemble the burger by placing a patty between the halves of the bun.
