Ingredients

2 tablespoons oil
1/2 kg mutton , cleaned and cut
2 big onions , sliced
2 tablespoons whole garam masala
4 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
2 teaspoons red chili powder
salt
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
2 tablespoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon coriander seed
150 g yogurt
6 whole red chilies

Instructions

1.Heat oil in a pan and add whole garam masala. Fry until they release their aroma.
2.Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
3.Add ginger-garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes away.
4.Add mutton pieces and fry until they change color.
5.Add red chili powder, salt, and turmeric; mix well and fry for a minute.
6.Add coriander powder and coriander seed; mix well and fry for a minute.
7.Add yogurt and mix well. Add water, cover and cook till the mutton is soft and tender.
8.Add whole red chilies and cook for a minute.
