Ingredients

3 cups wheat flour
1/2 cup grated cheese
2 cups fresh spinach , washed and chopped
1/2 cup fresh fenugreek leaves , washed and chopped ( methi )
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves , washed and chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
1/2 inch piece fresh ginger
3 green chilies
2 garlic cloves
salt
oil , as required

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, grated cheese, fresh spinach, fresh fenugreek, fresh mint leaves, cumin seeds, fresh ginger, green chilies, garlic cloves, and salt as required.
2.Mix all the ingredients together and knead into a soft dough by adding water. Let the dough rest for at least 10 minutes.
3.Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and roll each ball into a flat round disc using a rolling pin. Make sure to dust each ball with flour before rolling it out as this prevents it from sticking to the surface.
4.Heat a tawa/griddle on medium-high heat and place the rolled out paratha on it. Cook the paratha on both sides by adding oil as required until golden brown spots appear.
5.Serve the paratha hot with your choice of chutney or pickle.
