Ingredients

250 g fresh tomatoes
100 g white onions
100 g daikon radishes
20 g guava powder or 100 g fresh guava juice
1 g fresh lime leaves
1 kg pork
10 g green chilies
100 g yams or 100 g taro root
150 g bok choy , leaves or 150 g chinese spinach
1 kg water , with pork broth cubes or 1 kg pork broth
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
Sinigang is a popular Filipino soup dish that usually has a sour flavor. The sourness is achieved by adding fruits like tamarind, calamansi, or guava. Instructions

1.In a large pot, bring pork and water to a boil and let it simmer for 45 minutes. Remove any foam on top.
2.Add onions, tomatoes, green chilies, daikon radishes, yams or taro root, lime leaves, and guava powder or fresh guava juice. Let it simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
3.Add bok choy or Chinese spinach and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
4.Season with salt and pepper to taste.
