2 medium potatoes , cut into medium cubes

250 g ground lamb
2 dried limes , cut into halves
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon saffron , leaves
3 maggi mutton stock cubes ( Authentic Taste )
1 tablespoon tomato paste
4 1/2 cups water
2 1/2 cups basmati rice , washed and drained

Instructions

1.In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
2.Add the potato cubes and fry until crispy and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3.In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
4.Add the ground lamb and brown until fully cooked.
5.Mix in the dried limes, cumin powder, cinnamon, cardamom powder, black pepper, and saffron leaves until fragrant.
6.Stir in the tomato paste, maggi mutton stock cubes, and water.
7.Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
8.Add the basmati rice and fried potato cubes, stirring well to combine.
9.Cover the pot and let the rice cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is fully cooked.
