Ingredients

1 cup rice ( can use brown rice , but will have to cook 15-20 minutes longer )
1 cup vegetable broth ( originally said chicken or beef broth )
1 cup water
1/2 cup pine nuts , lightly roasted
1/4 cup sesame seeds , lightly roasted
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon fenugreek leaves

Instructions

1.Rinse rice in a fine mesh sieve and drain well.

4.Add rice to the saucepan and stir to coat with the butter mixture.
5.Add vegetable broth and water to the saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
6.Reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 18-20 minutes or until rice is done.
7.Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes.
8.Fluff rice with a fork and add pine nuts and sesame seeds. Stir to combine and serve.
