1 cup fine egg noodles , uncooked
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup long grain rice , uncooked
1 1/4 teaspoons salt

Instructions

1.In a large skillet over medium heat, toss the uncooked noodles in melted butter until they turn golden-brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3.Once it comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover it with a tight-fitting lid and let it cook for about 18 minutes.
4.After 18 minutes, remove the skillet from the heat and let it sit, still covered, for an additional five minutes.
5.Fluff the rice up gently with a fork and sprinkle the toasted noodles on top. Serve hot and enjoy!
