4 scallions , green and white parts , coarsely chopped
2 inches piece fresh ginger , peeled
1 serrano peppers or 1 jalapeno pepper , seeded and finely chopped , divided
2 garlic cloves , crushed
1/2 cup tamari , plus
3 tablespoons dark soy sauce , found on the international aisle
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves , a big handful
2 limes , juice and zest of
1/2 lb medium shrimp , shelled and deveined , tails removed
1 lb ground pork
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons water

Instructions

3.Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.

6.In a small bowl, whisk together honey, water, and remaining serrano pepper or jalapeno pepper.
7.Skewer each ball with a toothpick and serve with the dipping sauce.
