1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons honey ( recipe calls for raw but I use regular )
1 tablespoon tamari
1 inch fresh ginger , grated
1 dash cayenne

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F.

4.Toast the almonds in a pan over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, or until lightly browned.
5.In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, honey, tamari, grated ginger, and cayenne.
6.If using almond butter, microwave it for 20-30 seconds to make it easier to mix.
7.Pour the lemon-ginger-honey mixture over the kale and almonds and use your hands to mix everything together, making sure the kale is well-coated.
8.Spread the kale and almond mixture out evenly on the baking sheet, making sure the pieces are not touching.
9.Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the kale are brown and crispy. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
