It is a stir-fry dish made with rice noodles, vegetables, and a protein such as chicken, beef, or shrimp. This particular recipe uses succulent shrimp, along with green onions, grated carrot, and bean sprouts, to create a colorful and flavorful stir-fry. The spicy and sour flavor comes from a sauce made of fish sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and spices. The dish is often served with lime wedges, honey roasted peanuts, red pepper flakes, and cilantro, to add extra flavor and texture. It is a relatively easy dish to prepare, and can be served as a main course or as part of a Thai-themed meal.
