1 1/2 lbs flank steaks
3/4 cup thick teriyaki sauce ( homemade is best )
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 ounces fresh gingerroot , finely chopped
1/3 cup garlic , minced
1 1/2 teaspoons red chili peppers , crushed
24 skewers

Instructions

1.Soak skewers in water for 10 minutes. Cut steak into thin ribbons. Combine teriyaki sauce and 2 tbsp oil in a bowl. Marinate steak for 30 minutes.
2.Heat remaining oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook ginger and garlic for 2 minutes. Add crushed red pepper, cook and stir for 1 minute. Set aside.
3.Thread steak onto skewers. Grill over medium heat until cooked as desired.
4.Drizzle ginger-garlic mixture over cooked steak.
