Ingredients

1/2 lb sweet sausage ( Chinese )
4 cups sweet rice
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 can whole mushrooms ( drained )
1/2 cup cooked shrimp ( optional )
1 lotus leaves , and large bamboo steamer

Instructions

1.Clean and rinse the sweet rice and soak in water for at least 4 hours.

10.Steam the wrapped rice in a bamboo steamer basket over boiling water until cooked through, approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
