3 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth or 3 1/2 cups broth
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 garlic clove , minced
2 lbs small shrimp , peeled and deveined
1/2 cup lemon juice ( about 2 lemons )
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 cup half-and-half
fresh ground black pepper
