1 1/2 cus milk
1/2 cup melted butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 package dry onion soup mix
2 cups uncooked instant Minute Rice
1 can sliced mushrooms , well drained ( can use 2 cans )
1 medium onion , finely chopped
1 small stalk celery , finely diced ( optional )
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper ( or to taste )
2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese , divided

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
