1 cup long grain rice
2 cups water

1/4 cup sweet pepper ( finely chopped )
1/4 cup carrot ( finely diced )
3/4 cup peas and carrots ( tinned )
1/4 cup onion ( finely chopped )
1 1/2 tablespoons celery ( finely chopped )
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pinch msg , powder ( optional )

Instructions

1.Rinse the rice a few times with water until the water runs clear.
2.Transfer the rice to a pot and add 2 cups of water and saffron powder. Let it soak for 30 minutes.
3.Add the sweet pepper, carrot, tinned peas and carrots, onion, celery to the pot.
4.Add vegetable oil and oyster sauce to the pot and stir well.
5.Cover the pot and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat for 12 minutes.
6.Turn the heat off and keep the pot covered for another 10 minutes to steam the rice.
7.Add sesame oil and MSG powder, and mix well.
