Ingredients

1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic

Instructions

Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, sesame oil and orange juice. Mix everything together until well combined. Turn heat to low and let sauce simmer for 5 - 7 minutes.
2.Preheat a grill to high heat. Brush the salmon with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Place the salmon steaks on the grill, skin side down. Grill for 4 - 6 minutes or until skin is crispy. Flip the salmon and baste with the Chinese BBQ sauce. Grill for another 2 - 3 minutes or until cooked through.
3.Remove salmon from the grill and serve with baby spinach.
