Ingredients

3 lbs chicken wings ( I buy the 3 lb . bag of frozen middle and `` shoulder '' joint wings at Kroger )
3/4 cup soy sauce ( I used light )
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger , minced
2 garlic cloves , peeled and minced
1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

3.Add all ingredients except the chicken wings in a large mixing bowl, and whisk until well combined.
4.Add chicken wings to the mixing bowl, and use your hands to coat them with the marinade evenly.
5.Place wings on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching each other.
6.Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through the cooking time.
7.Broil for 1-2 minutes to make the exterior of the wings crispy.
8.Serve hot and enjoy!
