Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs beef , thinly sliced
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup white rice
2 cups water
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 teaspoons orange zest
3 teaspoons ginger
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
8 broccoli , florets- steamed
2 cups oil ( for frying )
Crispy Orange Beef is a Chinese dish that has been gaining popularity all over the world. Instructions

1.In a bowl, whisk together sugar, vinegar, orange juice concentrate, salt and soy sauce.
2.Add the beef to the bowl and toss to combine and coat.
3.Place the cornstarch in a shallow dish and add beef to coat well.
4.In a wok add the oil and heat until hot.
5.Working in batches, add the beef to the hot oil and fry until brown and crispy, about 3 minutes per batch.
6.Remove the beef from the pan and drain on paper towels.
7.In the same wok add orange zest, ginger and garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
8.Add the beef back to the pan and toss to combine and reheat.
9.Serve with steamed broccoli and rice.
