1 package fast rising yeast

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, and yeast.
2.Pour in the warm skim milk, water, and peanut oil and stir until a dough forms.
3.Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4.Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
5.Once risen, divide the dough into equal pieces and shape each piece into a round bun.
6.Place the buns on a greased steamer rack and cover with the damp cloth again. Let them rise for 10 minutes.
7.Steam the buns over high heat for 10-12 minutes, or until they become puffy and fully cooked.
