Ingredients

2 -3 tablespoons oil
2 onions , thinly sliced
2 lbs ground beef
2 -3 slices white bread , crust removed and cut into cubes
1 cup milk
1/4 cup vinegar or 1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup raisins
2 tablespoons sugar
1 -2 tablespoon curry powder , to your taste
1 teaspoon turmeric
salt and pepper , to season
5 fresh bay leaves ( if using dry , remove before adding egg topping )
2 eggs , beaten

Instructions
