Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, clementine zest, and salt.
2.Cut in the butter and shortening until it resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in egg yolk and enough water until dough comes together.
3.Divide the dough into 12 pieces. Press evenly onto the bottoms and up the sides of greased muffin cups.
4.In a small saucepan, whisk the egg yolks, milk, sugar, salt, and flour until smooth. Stir in the clementine juice, clementine zest, and butter.
5.Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in liqueur and vanilla.
6.Pour into pastry shells. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool before serving with a dollop of marmalade on each tart.
